A special World Refugee Day event hosted by the Regional Representative Richard Towle will involve former refugee communities and feature cultureal presentations, food, information & experiences in a relaxed & informal atmosphere in Canberra.
On Saturday 20 June 2009, at 6. 30pm - 9.30pm.
In Function Room A, at the Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre, 2nd floor, North Building 180 London Circuit, Civic Square, Canberra City.

World Refugee Day 2009 Soccer Tournament, organised by Companion House. A team from the Sudan and Sierra Leone, Karen and Mon will compete in a friendly soccer match.

Far To Here, Photographic exhibition, organised by Darfur Australia Network (DAN) to coincide with World Refugee Week/Day, featuring works by photojournalist Kabir Dhanji accompanied by works from young people from the Australian Darfuri community.
