The Public Information Unit produces newsletters and discussion papers on key policy issues relevant to the region and has a wide range of educational resources and display materials for teachers, community groups and the general public - many downloadable from this web site (see below).

It also run a number of public awareness projects, including the high school writing competition Refugees: telling their stories and is developing a Speakers' Bureau.

Publications and Resources

UNHCR publishes materials for different audiences on all aspects of 'the refugee experience'. A wide range of UNHCR publications are available to download from UNHCR Headquarters website (new window), including educational materials (new window). UNHCR also recently launched a Youtube Channel (new window).
